CHIVERS Mel (of Newton Hall) Mel passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on 7th June, aged 75 years. Devoted husband of Cathy, treasured dad of Lucy, Paul and Beth, adored grandad, father in law, uncle and friend to many. Would friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday 19th June at 10am. Family flowers only please, donations for Team Solan may be given after the service. All welcome for refreshments at Sacriston Cricket Club afterwards.
