SAYERS Joan (nee Davies) of Bishop Auckland, formerly Spennymoor, aged 86 years, peacefully in the care of Darlington Memorial Hospital, 29th February 2024. Devoted wife of the late Walter. Loving mother to Jennifer, Steven and the late Amanda. Beloved grandmother of Thomas, Amy, Carl, Gavin and Matthew. A much-loved family member and good friend to many. Joan will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A funeral service will be held in the Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon, on Monday 25th March, at 2.30pm. Donations in memory of Joan may be left at the crematorium for 'Macmillan Nurses'. Family flowers only please.
