TOWNS Betty (nee Carr) Elizabeth (Betty) of Spennymoor. Passed away peacefully in Eden House on 9 March aged 94 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late Jim, a much loved mam of Lynn and Beverley, a treasured mother-in-law of Alan, precious nana to Max, Oliver and Andrew and great nana to Bobby and Rufus, Jesse and Ivy and Evie. Will family and friends please meet for a service at Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon on Friday 22nd March at 4.30 pm, to be followed by a celebration of Bettys life at Tudhoe Cricket Club. "In our hearts forever"
