SMITH Maria (née Papakyriacou ) 4th January, peacefully with her family at her side. Maria of Bishop Auckland, formerly Larnaca, Cyprus aged 89 years. Wife to the late Don Smith. Devoted and loving mother to Dominic, Andreas, James, Fiona, Sean, Kieran, Monica and Lawrence. A respected mother-in-law to Claire, Earl, Eddie, Jenny and Anthea. Beloved grandmother to nine beautiful children. Will family and friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Bishop Auckland on Friday 26th January at 11:00am followed by interment in Witton Park cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Maria may be left in Church for The British Heart Foundation.
