HODGSON John of Gainford, formerly of Selaby, died peacefully at home on 10th January, aged 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Kitty, much loved dad of Janet, Graham and Diane and a dear father-in-law, loving grandad and great-grandad. A private Committal will take place at the Wear Valley Crematorium on Friday 2nd February, followed immediately by a Service of Thanksgiving for John's life at St. Mary's Church, Gainford at 11.30am. Friends please meet at the Church. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired may be given at the Service, to be shared between the Great North Air Ambulance and Church Funds.
