BURNS Maureen Turnbull Aged 84 years, widow of the late Anthony Burns (architect) died in Harrogate on 30th December, with her four children around her. Born in Newcastle, Maureen lived most of her life in Castle Eden. She was a devoted mother to Jane, Julia, David and Jenny, as well as a loving sister to Fred. Her funeral will take place at the Durham Crematorium, on Thursday 18th January at 3pm, and afterwards at Ramside Hall. Family flowers only. There will be a collection for Cancer Research.
