SMITH 9th December, Richard aged 71 years of East Roughlea Farm passed away peacefully in the care of St Teresa's Hospice. Beloved husband of the late Elaine. Devoted dad to Caroline and Richard and dear father in law to Phill. A much loved and loving grandad to Bonnie and Harry. A dear brother to Susan and brother-in-law to the late Royce, and uncle to Melanie and Royce, also great-uncle and good friend to many. A private committal service will take place, will family and friends please meet for a celebration of Richard's life in St John's Church, Kirk Merrington at 3pm on Thursday December 21st. Family flowers only please. After the service all are welcome to refreshments at Darlington Mart.
