COOKE Lilian (nee Donohue), aged 88 years of Bishop Auckland, peacefully in the care of Sandringham Nursing Home, 23rd November 2023. Devoted wife to Alan. Loving mother to Cheryl and the late Darren, and loving mother-in-law to David and Margaret. Cherished grandma of Michael, Debbie, and Henry, and a dear great-grandma to Alfie, Lily, Jack and Tommy. A much loved sister and sister-in-law. A very special family member, and a very good friend to many. Lilian will be sadly missed by all that knew her. A funeral service will be held in the Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon, on Friday 8th December, at 10.30am. Donations in memory of Lilian may be left at the crematorium for 'Alzheimer's UK & Stroke Association UK'. Family flowers only please.
