MAWSON William "Peter" of Gilesgate, Durham aged 88. Loving husband of the late Joan. Much loved dad to Tracy. Beloved grandad to Cameron. Beloved brother to Merle and Keith. Passed away peacefully at home on 11th October. Funeral service to take place at Durham crematorium on Friday 27th October at 1pm. Family flowers only. Donations can be made if desired to Marie Curie.

I am sad my mam has lost her dad and I have lost my grandad . Grandad was a kind and generous man he gave me my first car and looked after me when I was younger we had laugh together. I will miss him .
