HANLEY Monica (nee Gornall) Formerly of Willington, Helmington Row and Oakenshaw. Well known receptionist at Willington Surgery for many years, has passed away peacefully aged 96 years in West Lodge care home on September 27th 2023. Dearly loved wife of the late Albert beloved mother of Elaine and son-in-law David, devoted Grandma to Melanie and Mark, loving sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Funeral service and cremation will be at Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon on Monday 23rd October at 1:30pm. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Monica may be left at the crematorium for Royal British Legion.
