COATHAM Terry Melvern We are announcing the death of our lovely Terry Coatham, suddenly at home on Tuesday 3rd October 2023. Much loved husband to Sandra, and treasured dad to Alice, Benedict and Edward. Beloved son to his late parents, brother, nephew, uncle and respected colleague and friend to many. There is a service to celebrate his life on Thursday 19th October 2023 at 10 am at Durham Crematorium (South Road Cemetery). This will be followed by a private interment for family. Friends are welcome for refreshments at the Honest Lawyer afterwards. Donations are welcome in lieu of flowers, for the Student Support Fund (Hardship), University of Sunderland. A collection will take place at the end of the service.

I was so saddened to hear this awful news. I worked with Terry at UoS when he made his move to HE. I remember him as a kind, warm and witty gentleman who was committed to his family and career. Sending my deepest condolences to all family members. Jacqui Cassidy (Patton)
