Dr Roy Stewart ROBERTS

ROBERTS (Durham) Suddenly and peacefully at home on 25th August aged 82 years, Dr Roy Stewart Roberts. Dr Roberts was born in Widnes in the borough of Halton, Cheshire. He was the only child of Charles and Marjorie Roberts and his family came from Liverpool. Roy was educated at Wade Deacon Grammar School and at Cambridge and Liverpool Universities. He taught Mathematics at Durham University until ill health made it necessary for him to retire early. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. We will be pleased to welcome all for service in St. Johns Church, Neville's Cross on Monday 2nd October at 12 noon, prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please.
