ARMSTRONG John Ernest, peacefully 2nd September, aged 80 years of Bishop Auckland. A devoted husband to Jane, a greatly loved dad to Jonathan and Simon, much loved grandard of Colette and Gabriel, a dear father-in-law to Kate, a very loyal brother to Hilary and a special friend to many. Will friends please meet for a service at Woodhouse Close Church at 3.30pm on Friday 22nd September followed by cremation at Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu may if desired be left for church funds.
