ALLEN Basil Bateman On 3rd August, suddenly at home, aged 94 years, of Turfy Top Hawes and Elijah Allen Hawes. Beloved husband of the late Signy, dearly loved father of Lesley and Richard and a much loved father in law, grandad and great-grandad. A Private family cremation service will be followed by a Service of Celebration & Thanksgiving for Basil's Life at St Margaret's Church, Hawes on Thursday 17th August at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please, donations if desired will go to Local Hawes Charities (plate in Church) Will friends please meet at the Church.
