SOWERBY Lilian MBE Peacefully on 21st April, surrounded by her loving family, of Ushaw Moor. Lilian, MBE aged 83 years, beloved wife of the late Brian, much loved partner of Alan, dearly loved mam to Neal and Jan, a treasured nana, sister, auntie and friend to many. She will be sadly missed. Friends please meet for Requiem Mass in St Joseph's R.C. Church, Ushaw Moor on Friday 12th May at 2.00pm, followed by cremation at Durham. All welcome for refreshments in The Catholic Club afterwards. Donations in lieu of flowers may be given after the service for St Cuthbert's Hospice and St Joseph's Church.
