SMITH 21st March, at The Lawns Care Home, Darlington. Sylvia, aged 87 years (former midwife and district nurse in Darlington), dearly loved sister of the late Dorothy and dear cousin of Arthur. Sylvia devoted her life to nursing and was much loved by all those whom she cared for. Funeral Tuesday 4th April. Friends please meet for service in the West Cemetery Chapel (Darlington Crematorium) at 2pm. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, may be given at the service for the Great North Air Ambulance.
