PORTILLO Justin North Berwick On 6th March in East Lothian Community Hospital, beloved husband of Jan, much loved by his brothers Charles, Jolyon, Michael, brother-in-law Peter, and his family and friends. Please meet for service at Baldred's Church, North Berwick on Monday 20th March at 3.00pm. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Lewy body Society. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Justin was my Spanish teacher at Dr Challoner’s High School in Amersham from 1982-88. He was an inspirational teacher, and hilariously funny - and I definitely wouldn’t have got a place at Oxford to read Spanish without his help and advice. I then went on to be Head of Spanish at two Oxfordshire girls’ schools. None of this would have happened without him. RIP
