Dorothy, who epitomised kindness, died peacefully on Monday, 27th February 2023, aged 76. Born in York, daughter to Bill and Betty Slack. Dorothy was the heart of her family for her daughter Jane and husband Cyril. Thoughtful sister to Ray and his family. She was a much appreciated friend and a long standing, diligent Northallerton community member.

Although a private cremation will take place; to honour Dorothy and Cyril Welburn’s memory, a celebration of their lives will be held in early summer. A warm invitation is extended; please contact Jane at the family home if you would like to attend.
