WOOD 12th January, peacefully in hospital after an illness bravely borne with courage and dignity, Eric (Sykes) of Bishop Auckland, aged 67 years. A loving son of the late Terry and Vera. A much loved and devoted partner of Stella for 20 happy years. A loving dad, grandad, great-grandad and someone like a dad. A very dear brother to Pauline and the late Terry, Margaret and Christine. Also a dear uncle and good friend to many. You will be forever in our hearts Sykes. Will family and friends please meet for service at The Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon on Thursday 9th February at 1:30pm. Family flowers only please.
