RACE 5th January peacefully in hospital with his loving family at his side. John Alfred of Firtree, formerly Billy Row aged 67 years. Devoted husband of the late Lorraine. A loving and much loved dad to John and Charlotte. Beloved grandad to Alfie and Jack. Respected father-in-law to Anne Marie and Rory. A dear brother to Alan. Also a dear uncle and good friend to many. Will family and friends please meet for service at St. Catherine's Church, Crook on Wednesday 1st February at 12:30pm. A committal will follow at Durham crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of John to The Renal Unit, Sunderland Royal Hospital, may be offered care of the family, or Gibson's Funeral Services, Craddock House, 25 Cockton Hill Road, Bishop Auckland, DL14 6EN, or at the funeral reception following service.
