HAWGOOD Mary Hawgood MBE, Alderwoman of the City of Durham, died peacefully on 23rd December, aged 88 years. Beloved of the late John, loving mother of David, Anthony, Justin, Zoe and Claire, loving sister and loving grandmother of ten grandchildren. She will be laid to rest in a private committal at Bow Cemetery, Durham. A memorial service for Mary and late husband John will be held in the Spring.
