FRYER YOUNG Marjorie Formerly Nelson, Crawford Late of Copley and West Auckland Passed away peacefully at home on 1st December, aged 75 years. Beloved wife of Philip, loving mam of Simon, Julie and the Mark and a loving gran and great-gran. Funeral Service to be held at Cockerton Methodist Church on Tuesday 20th December at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the Church. Marjorie has requested that you wear something colourful. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired may be given at the service for St.Teresa's Hospice and Church Funds. Afterwards everyone is warmly invited for refreshments at The Mowden.

Marjorie was named after my recently late mum (Marjorie Anne Robinson). My mum was a child evacuee at Rosedale Farm where she would help nurse little baby Marjorie Fryer. I exchanged some wonderful emails with Marjorie over lock-down and was able to share these memories with my own mum. I'm so pleased I did, I just wished I'd had more time to reunite the two. Rest in peace beautiful lady, my mum always talked of you and your lovely family. My nana Doris Galloway Robinson was your Godmother as she was best friends with your mum Nancy. Xx
