MARSHALL Alan Peacefully, aged 99 at his care home, Newport, Shropshire on 28th November with his loving daughter Christine by his side. Formerly of Baydale Road, Town Councillor for Hummersknot Ward for 11 years. Much loved by his family and friends as a kind, caring grandparent and a true gentleman.

Deepest condolences to all the family. My mum used to travel to work every day for years to Paton's and Baldwin's. A lovely man with a fascinating wartime history. I was privileged to know him as a teenager and adult.
