SOWERBY The Revd Geoffrey Nigel Rake, of Bedale, peacefully, on Tuesday 15th November, after a short illness, aged 87. Beloved husband of the late Hilary, devoted father and father-in-law of Mark, Philip, Peter and Ruth, loving grandfather of Bethan, Pippa and Anna. Funeral in St Gregory's Church, Bedale on Thursday 1st December at 2.00 pm followed by private cremation. Family flowers only; donations in lieu for St Gregory's Church and the Alzheimer's Society.
