STRONG (Belmont) Margaret passed away peacefully after a short illness on 18th September at 94 years. Much loved mother of Michael and Susan, grandmother of Helen and Catherine and great-grandmother of Freya and Mae. A well-known deputy headteacher of Belmont Infants School for 20 years, and an active member of the Belmont community. A cortege will leave from the family home and the funeral service will take place at 12:00 at Durham Crematorium on Friday 14th October. Family flowers only and any donations to Margaret's chosen charities of 'Great North Air Ambulance Service' or 'Help for Heroes' may be made donation boxes will be provided.
