PAGE 8th September peacefully, Alan of Fir Tree aged 82 years. Dearly beloved husband of June, brother of Leslie, a dear father to Gordon and David. Stepfather to Ilona and Stewart, a much loved grandad and great-grandad. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, friends and neighbours. A funeral service will be held at The Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon on Monday 19th September at 3:30pm. Family flowers only please. As this is a celebration of Alan's life, guests are welcome to dress smart but casual.
