STAPLETON 23rd August, peacefully at Acorn Grange Care Home, aged 91 years. George, loving husband to Lilian, devoted dad to Beverly and Avril, much loved granda to Katy and Tom, Thomas and Maria, also great-grandad to Lily-Anna, dear brother to Arnold, Brian and Margery, loving brother-in-law and uncle. Friends please meet for service at St Paul's Church, Spennymoor on Friday 9th September at 3.30pm, followed by cremation at Wear Valley Crematorium at 4.30pm. Family Flowers only, donations in memory of George can be left at the crematorium for Alzheimer's Society and Here 4 Horses.
