William YOUNG

YOUNG William (Bill) 17th August 2022, peacefully in hospital, aged 92 years, of Coundon (Retired Deputy Headteacher, Coundon Junior School). A dearly loved and devoted husband of Audrey. Much loved dad of Christopher and Nicola, and father-in-law of Kerry and Paul. Proud grandad of four wonderful grandsons, three step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. A dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and good friend to many. All family and friends are invited to celebrate Bill's life at Wear Valley Crematorium on Thursday 15th September at 10.30, and afterwards at Coundon Working Men's Club. Many thanks to neighbours and friends for their support over the years, and a special thank you to the staff of Ward 51, Darlington Memorial Hospital. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to be shared between The Stroke Association and The Epilepsy Society.
