BRIGGS 16th August, peacefully at home, Stan aged 88 years of West Auckland, beloved husband of June, loving father of Pamela and Alison, dear father-in-law of Pat, dearly loved brother of Carol, devoted grandad and great-grandad, also a much loved uncle of Stephen and nieces Gillian and Janet. Will friends please meet for service on Friday 2nd September at 1:30 p.m. at Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon, to celebrate the life of Stan. No flowers by Stan's request, donations in memory may be left at the crematorium for the Great North Air Ambulance. "Will be sadly missed"
