ATKINSON (nee Ellwood ) 14th August, peacefully in The Gardens Care Home, Darlington. Rita Janet of West Auckland, formerly Evenwood, aged 96 years. Devoted wife of the late George William. A much loved mother of Reginald, George Ronald and the late Allan David. A beloved grandmother and great-grandmother. Also a very dear sister to Lucy. Will family and friends please meet for service at The Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon on Thursday 1st September at 1:30pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Rita may be left at the crematorium for The Alzheimer's Society and Dementia U.K.
