SAYLES Douglas Sayles died peacefully at St Clare's Court in Newton Aycliffe, aged 103, on 22 July 2022. Douglas was a loved and much respected father, grandfather and uncle. He will be missed by all his family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to attend the service in celebration of Douglas' life at St Michael's Church in Heighington on Tuesday 9th August at 1.45 pm. Family flowers only but donations, if desired, may be given at the service for St Michael's Church, Heighington or sent for the Alzheimer's Society, c/o Seaton Leng and Son Ltd, 59a Bondgate, Darlington, Co. Durham, DL3 7JR.
