BROTHERTON (David) Ian On 14th July, peacefully at home, Moor Ghyll West Scrafton, aged 80 years (formerly of Thornton Rust). Beloved husband of Jenny, dearly loved father of Simon and Ness, much loved father-in-law of Christine and Richard and a very dear grandpa to Sam, Jack, Amy, Henry, Alex and Nic. Funeral service at Holy Trinity Church Coverham on Friday 22nd July at 2.00pm followed by burial in the churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations if desired will go to Bowel Cancer UK, Oxfam and Save the Children (plate in Church or via Ian-Brotherton41 JustGiving page). Will friends please meet at the Church.
