KELLY (Gilesgate) On Saturday 9th July 2022 peacefully in hospital, surrounded by family, Douglas "Doug" Joseph aged 91 years. Dearly loved father of Adrian, Robin and Simon and their mam Joan, their partners Hayley and Sarah. Treasured grandpa of Brad, Zac, Lewis, Adam and Jonathan. Doug devoted 26 years of his life to working for the Durham County Fire Brigade and served his Country within the British Army Fire Service during his National Service in Egypt. Before that that Doug worked as an Apprentice Organ Builder for Harrison & Harrison Organ Builders of Durham, whose clients included Westminster Abbey & Kings College, Cambridge. Doug was a keen golfer and was a member at Brancepeth Castle Golf Club for over 30 years. Would friends please meet for service and committal at Durham Crematorium on Friday 22nd July 2022 at 2:00pm.
