GRIFFITHS David Alfred Born on 9th April 1932 and died peacefully on 4th January 2022, aged 89 years. Beloved husband of Christine Ann Griffiths (nee Heaviside), wonderful father to Dawn, Bridie and Deborah Lynn and best grandad to Reece. David made a valuable contribution to Durham County by teaching drama at Durham Technical College before taking up his post as Durham County Drama Advisor. David loved his life and lived it to the full. The committal will take place at Durham Crematorium on 26th January 2022 at 1:30pm followed by a gathering at the Durham Marriott Hotel Royal County. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Medecins Sans Frontieres.
