What was your first car?
A Peugeot estate in the mid 80s with a single windscreen wiper that didn’t quite fit the whole window, so I learnt to drive with a slight lean. That lean remained with me when I got the next car.
How many times did it take to pass your test?
I passed first time. A driving instructor taught me and I cannot remember which car it was in. I do remember reversing around a lot of corners in Lee Green.
Who would be your ideal fantasy passenger and where would you go?
Jay Raynor to take me to the Sportsman Pub in Seasalter.
What is your dream car?
It would be an American Recreational Vehicle with double slide outs.
How would you describe your driving style?
Aggressive, tetchy and impatient.
Tell me one driving anecdote from your past?
A car being driven by Paul McCartney once cut me up.
What are you listening to?
I am listening to an album that was released in 1972 by Bobby Charles called ‘Bobby Charles’ because he has a lovely mood about him. The lyrics speak about his life in a way that I can empathise with.
What do you drive now?
A Maserati Levante. Not really. I drive a Jeep because it works.
