What was your first car?
It was a gold Austin Metro with very low mileage and a snazzy digital clock in the walnut dashboard . It was the nicest version of that sort of car and I think it cost me £900 20 years ago. I learnt to drive in it and passed my test in it.
How many times did it take to pass your test?
See above. I had a few official lessons then I got blood poisoning - drama! I had to take a couple of months off learning. Then I bought my car and my dad taught me in my own car. It was a test of patience for him and a wrestle over the cassette deck. I passed first time.
Who would be your ideal fantasy passenger and where would you go?
I'd like to drive with Maya Angelou through the South of America that would be amazing.
What is your dream car?
Porsche 911 Turbo - actually a Porsche 911 from any era. Nineties Bad Boys era, 70s Steve McQueen era. It's a timeless car really. It's the next car I will buy. I'm not into Ferrari's or Lamborghini's, I've just always loved the Porsche.
How would you describe your driving style?
Awesome, although my Scottish boyfriend who is more sedate would say 'aggressive', but I learnt to drive in London so you have to be aggressive and nippy otherwise you would never get anywhere.
Tell me one driving anecdote from your past?
Sometimes I'll drive with the roof down at night back from a gig, normally with a car full of comics. A memorable one was with Roisin Conaty, Hannibal Buress and Aisling Bea driving down Regent Street at 11pm blaring 'I can't wait' by Nu Shooz and screeching along at the top of our lungs. We were having a great time but anyone looking at us would have thought we were absolute tits.
What are you listening to?
Currently listening to a country playlist for research. It's a lot of Cadillac Three, Alabama Shakes and Springsteen in his Dixie phase. I love it.
What are you driving now?
Saab 93 convertible, because it's cool.
