What was your first car?

It was a Honda Civic. It was yellow with the boot painted black by my dad to keep the rust under control. It looked like a bumble bee and cost £250.

How many times did it take to pass your test?

I passed first time. I used to work on a farm and had been driving tractors since I was 12. Howard Roberts, the farmer I worked for, used to take me out driving.

Who would be your ideal fantasy passenger and where would you go?

Mmm. It would have to be Channing Tatum, below, and somewhere quiet.

The Northern Echo:

What is your dream car?

I don't really have one to be honest. I am happy with my Mercedes at the moment.

How would you describe your driving style?

I don't have much patience with drivers who hog the middle or outside lane on the motorway. Apart from that I am not too bad, if a bit heavy on the throttle when I am late - all within the speed limit though.

Tell me one driving anecdote from your past?

I drove into a McDonalds car park the wrong way once with my little cousin in the car. The driver coming the opposite opened the window and shouted out: "You idiot, you're going up a one way." My little cousin, who was eight and sitting in the back of the car, shouted back: “It's ok, there's only one way we want to go."

What are you listening to?

I listen to the radio and change between Radio Cymru, Radio Wales and Smooth FM.

What do you drive now?

The Northern Echo:

I drive Mercedes GLE Coupe, above, at the moment. It is a lovely car to drive.
