What was your first car?

My first car was a Turner, very cute and pink. My hairdresser had advised me on the pink, because at the time, my hair had been dyed red for a film.

How many times did it take to pass your test?

I passed on my first test! I was taught to drive by a police driver.

Who would be your ideal fantasy passenger and where would you go?

I would drive my sister Barbara down to Cornwall. Memory lane.

What is your dream car?

I think the Bentley Convertible is gorgeous.

How would you describe your driving style?

I used to be a very fast driver. Now, I’ve become aware that most drivers are not as careful as me, so I’ve slowed down.

Tell me one driving anecdote from your past?

For a while I was driving a Sunbeam which had been offered to me by the Chrysler company for which I had done a commercial. It was a cute little car with left-hand drive and although overtaking in the UK was a bit risky, I really didn’t want to get rid of it. Eventually I did for a BMW convertible which I learned to love too.

I listen to everything for no particular reason!
