A TRAINING and recruitment company has expanded the size of its premises and plans to take on eight more staff.
Premium People Recruitment Group, and sister company Premium People Training and Development, have doubled the floorspace at their factory in Peterlee, County Durham, to 2,000sq ft and created a new training suite.
The group, which specialises in recruitment in the industrial, commercial and contact centre sectors, is now looking to take its workforce to 21 to cope with increasing demand.
Managing director Paul Boyes, who formed Premium nine months ago, said the company is going from strength to strength.
"We deliver an unparalleled service to our customers and continue to diversify into new markets and our customer base is growing rapidly, which is fantastic," he said.
"By May 2008, we will have doubled in size and our revenue will have grown by 150 per cent. We aim to take on more sales staff and be one of the leading recruitment companies in the country."
The company has forged links with Learndirect and other training providers in the North-East, and secured funding through the European Social Fund.
It is hosting an open day tomorrow, from 3pm until 6pm, at its premises in Yoden Way, Peterlee.
