YOUNG people looking for ideas about what to do with their lives are invited to one of the largest careers conventions on Teesside.
Employers and talent-spotters will be keeping watch for their future workforce at Skill Up Tees Valley at the Riverside Stadium, in Middlesbrough.
Exhibitors will be going all out to entertain and inform young adults about the opportunities at the interactive convention in July.
And young people, aged 15 to 25, will be able to find out about a range of careers, from construction to digital media, and accounting to social work.
The event is being launched to Tees Valley businesses and organisations tomorrow, to encourage as many employers as possible to take part.
Organiser Jo Anna Robinson, from the North-East Chamber of Commerce, said: "Most young adults believe they can't get the job they really want here, but the North-East Chamber and the Learning and Skills Council - which is funding this event - are determined to challenge that view.
"We want to inspire and motivate local people to stay here by helping them to find enjoyable and rewarding careers right on their doorstep."
The event take place from Tuesday, July 17, until Thursday, July 19.
