UP to 50 jobs could be created in the new year with the completion of a business project in the region.
The Beehive suites, at Lingfield Point business park, on the outskirts of Darlington, have been developed in three stages. The first two phases have been completed, and construction of the third phase, which will create 5,300sq ft of space, is about to get under way.
Upon completion early in the new year, developers estimated that about 50 people could be employed at the site.
The Beehive project is a self-contained business community within one building. Already, it is home to Four Seasons Health Care, AN Solutions, Naafi, Faulkner Brown Architects and Darlington MP Alan Milburn's office.
Lingfield Point has seen £23.5m of investment in the past two years to redevelop the site into a modern business park.
It is home to more than 30 businesses and employs more than 1,400 people.
Eddie Humphries, Lingfield Point estate manager, said: "Lingfield Point is fast becoming the first choice for new and growing companies in the Tees Valley."
