THANKS to all the readers and listeners, Echo Memories has been made an Honorary Life Member of St Teresa’s Hospice in Darlington.
From Sacriston to Saltburn, hundreds of groups of people have endured the Memories talks, and all the proceeds have gone to the hospice.
Since hospice records began in 2003, we’ve raised more than £8,500, a sum which was recognised at St Teresa’s recent annual meeting.
So, thank you to everyone who has ever contributed.
There are ten Memories talks in all, ranging from Darlington’s Civic Theatre and South Park, to the bankers, mansions and dragons of the Hurworth area, WT Stead and the Titanic, Teesdale Railways and Cockfield Fell. The full list is on the Memories blog.
Contact details are at the top of the page for anyone brave enough to book a talk.
