FOLLOWING the unprecedented levels of snowfall in the UK, travel agencies have been inundated with calls from people wanting to book a ski holiday.

Sammi Nisbet, of Ski Europe Online, said: “The UK snow has been a life-saver for the ski industry. The blizzards that have swept the UK and the continent, and thus inspired bookings, have been a welcome relief.

Year-on-year, this week’s bookings are up by over 150 per cent.”
