KATIE MELUA’S autumn UK tour ends in Gateshead on October 16, before she sets off across the Channel with an extensive run of theatre and arena shows throughout Europe.

The 27-year-old singer, has sold more than 11 million albums and is one of Britain’s most successful artist of the past decade, will be performing songs from all five of her studio albums, including her latest album Secret Symphony, which was released in March.

More familiar tracks, like The Closest Thing To Crazy and Nine Millions Bicycles, will feature alongside some new songs. She says: “I really enjoyed recording Secret Symphony, there is a simplicity to it that I love and the songs are beautiful to sing. Playing a song live on stage brings something new each time and it is exciting to share that unique performance, that special moment, with the audience.”

Katie has taken time out recently to marry former World Superbike Champion James Toseland. The ceremony was held on Saturday, September 1, in the Nash Conservatory at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, London.
