Although some of the ten tunes on his 35th album lack the bite to correspond with his increasingly raspy bark, there’s nothing more exhilarating than the sound of Bob Dylan with the bit between his teeth. John Lennon gets a belated tribute on the genuinely heartfelt Roll On John, while the lengthy title track struggles to hold interest for the whole 14 minutes.
