Ralph McTell… songwriter and master of the acoustic guitar, takes to the road this autumn to perform more than 30 dates across the UK. The English Heartbeat Tour is set to launch the muchanticipated, Volume 2 of Songs For Six Strings – a collection of hand-picked, live recordings that will eventually comprise of a six-CD collection. Ralph’s current album, Somewhere Down The Road, continues to attract critical acclaim – while prior to beginning the tour, he was in the studio, near his home in Cornwall, working on a guitar only, instrumental album, which is also released this autumn.

Following the Queen’s diamond jubilee, and the UK hosting the Olympics, McTell’s tour will celebrate and congratulate many of his favourite aspects of this green and pleasant land....
