Brown and Thigpen stayed on stage, but the pianist was Jan Johansson who often backed the tenor player during his European sojourn. Getz, and indeed all the musicians, were in particularly good form on a typical programme of the time including Woody ‘n You, Land’s End and I Remember Clifford.
