FRONTMAN Danny O’Donoghue’s profile has never been higher thanks to his stint as a coach on The Voice, and he’s roped in fellow coach will.i.am on the record’s inspirational first single, Hall Of Fame. The Irish pop-rock group’s diverse influences on their third album are obvious in rocky Kaleidoscope (U2) and pop ballad Give The Love Around (Prince). The album – a mix of rap, love songs, rock anthems and R&B ballads, infused with the group’s own brand of pop - kicks off well with the catchy Good Ol’ Days, with its nostalgialaden lyrics. If You Could See Me Now is a heartfelt tribute to O’Donoghue’s late father and guitarist Mark Sheehan’s parents.
