AN album two years in the making is worth the wait.
Collaborations between talented musicians can often be a massive disappointment, but former Talking Heads main man David Byrne and indie-kid marriage-material Annie Clark, aka St Vincent, show exactly how it should be done. These two musicians play to each other’s absolute strengths, creating perfect modern pop songs while keeping their own styles visible throughout. The album opener, Who, is easily one of the strongest singles of this year so far.
