Album Review: Sinead O’Connor, How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?
SHE recently made headlines for her new marriage, but hopefully Sinead O’Connor will be known for her music, following an astonishing return to form with her ninth album.
There is not a duff track on here.
The Irish songstress’ strong vocals remain her most potent weapon, and are matched by excellent songwriting and a top-notch band.
The reggae-tinged 4th And Vine is the pick of the songs, while her cover of John Grant’s majestic Queen Of Denmark almost tops the original.
